Delaware Expands Veterans Treatment Court to Every County
Delaware has expanded Veterans Treatment Court to every county in the state, ensuring that these life-saving programs are within reach of every veteran in need.
A Veterans Treatment Court will begin hearing cases this month in Sussex County. The court is being established because there has been so much success in the neighboring Kent county. “The goal in all of this is to get a bridge for the veteran to back into society, and to be able to function as well as one can, with the problems that they have,” said Judge Richard Stokes, who will preside over the Sussex County Veterans Treatment Court.
