Justice For Vets leads the national effort to put a veterans treatment court within reach of every veteran in need. We provide ongoing training and technical assistance to the veterans treatment court field and jurisdictions serving justice-involved veterans; shape public opinion through media outreach; advocate for state and federal legislation; and are building a corps of volunteer veterans to serve as mentors to veterans treatment court participants.
In addition, Justice For Vets annually hosts the nation's only training conference dedicated to justice-involved veterans.
Justice For Vets' cadre of experts are able to answer questions regarding veterans treatment courts, justice-involved veterans, the intersection of veterans and the justice system, and criminal justice reform. In addition, we regularly connect reporters with program graduates, judges, and other professionals involved in these programs.
